The orchestra conductor was amazing as well—you could tell how passionate he was about the songs. Matteo Mancuso was really great. The visuals were simply unbelievable, with colors, patterns, live photos, faces changing into grids, special effects, and designs that changed with the music. The opening act, however, was just okay, she only sang 2 songs, then she and another woman sang backup. The location was gorgeous, the sound great, and all the seats had a good view. I guess I should have gone down to the 'real' restrooms, as the intermission could have been longer—I missed a favorite song while in line for a port-a-potty, LOL. So glad I didn't miss it. I was pleasantly surprised at how much he kept giving the orchestra, conductor, first chair, and his collaborator—John Metcalf. He did a lot of older songs, but rearranged for the 'New Blood' orchestra.
